When I surf the web and stumble myself on websites I expect to be amazed not only by the content they provide, but also by the experience they offer me, a first time user. It tells the story of Pi Patel, his childhood in Pondicherry, and the origins of his name. His father decided one day to move to Canada, where he could sell his animals from the zoo that he had in his hometown.
After boarding and setting sail on a Japanese cargo ship, with his family and all of the animals, a storm suddenly shipwrecks the ship. Surviving the tragedy only with a zebra, an orangutan, a hyena and a male Bengal tiger, Pi soon finds out that he is drifting in the Pacific Ocean and is in tremendous danger. I highly recommend you go watch the movie, or read the book, and only after you have done one of those two options you should check out the website that has stunning visual backgrounds.

Fernando Maclen is a talented designer that had a really cool idea of making his website create a new message for its visitors every time they enter.
