10 Vintage Tobacco Ads That Were Ridiculous But Inspirational
We all remember those old Marlboro or Lucky Strike tobacco ads; they portrayed masculinity at the highest level. Vintage tobacco ads are a great source of design inspiration, as the general tendency is to go back in history and take the best features, color schemes, designs, and concepts from those times and use them in our design projects to create a realistic-looking vintage or retro design.
We should add that by inspirational, we mean colors, fonts, color schemes, and aspects related to design in general, and not the idea or message of the ad (in those days, they used babies, doctors, and presidents in tobacco ads, and this is unacceptable in these days).
Today, we’ll enjoy looking at some ancient but famous tobacco ads.
